More weight loss tips

  • Eat a small salad or a vegetable based soup ( non cream based of course ) before eating dinner. These foods are low in calories and high in water content therefore will fill you up.

  • Snack on non starchy vegetables like carrots, bell peppers, celery and cucumbers, all which are high in water content and low in calories.

  • Drink water all day and before meals

  • If you feel like eating sweets ( chocolate in particular ), go out of the house and take a quick 10-15 minute walk. Some studies have shown that this has reduced cravings. If anything you just end up burning some extra calories.

  • Commit yourself completely. Go all in!

  • Every bite counts. Avoid nibbling on foods because in the end those calories will add up.

  • Say no to sugars

  • Be aware of food labels and read them

  1. What are your thoughts regarding the Paleo nutrition? I am now hearing that all grains including Whole Grains and Steel Cut oatmeal as well as all beans and all dairy are actually really bad for health. Really shocked me when I heard that today from my trainer.

  2. To my knowledge the Paleo diet is all about eating high lean protein, solid amounts of fats and low carbs. Most of the carbs come from fruits and vegetables. Really other than the eat solid amount of sat fats.....everything else is regular things you would want to do. My belief is just eat natural fresh foods and you will be fine.
